Grants - How To Apply
The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty is
committed to improving the quality of life in the West Chester/Liberty area
by providing grants to organizations serving our funding area. In order to
best respond to local community needs, the Foundation has developed a variety
of funding opportunities.
The following funding opportunities are currently
available:
- Community
Grant Program – The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty’s
Board of Directors reviews and awards grants quarterly. Funding is available
through the Foundation’s unrestricted grant fund, as well as a
variety of field of interests funds designed to honor donor’s charitable
giving interests. Community Grants are distributed to non-profit organizations
working to improve the quality of life in the West Chester/Liberty area.
- Youth
In Philanthropy (YIP) Grants – The Foundation’s YIP
programs provides grants up to $1,500 for projects and programs working
to improve the quality of life for youth in West Chester/Liberty
- Lakota
Fund – The Lakota Fund provides support for innovative projects
within the Lakota School District to enhance the learning and experiences
of students and faculty.
If you are interested in submitting an application
to The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty it is highly encouraged
that you speak to a member of the Foundation staff prior to submitting
an application.
Grant Workshops
In addition, the Foundation hosts workshops throughout
the year to inform the community about its grantmaking priorities and process.
