West Chester Parks Fund
The design of the
new Voice of America Park reflects the significance of the land and
meets the recreational needs of a growing community. After
more than a year of planning with residents, community leaders, designers
and historians, the master plan for the park is in place.
Now, the West Chester Parks Department
looks ahead to bringing the plan into reality. The $50 million
VOA Park will not be built overnight; but, with the support from residents,
corporate sponsors and others, it will be built.
The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty
is pleased to be the vehicle in which donors for the parks may make
their charitable contributions. The West Chester Parks Fund will be
used to purchase needed items for not only the VOA Park, but for the
other West Chester Parks. This includes other parks being planned
or already in existence, Beckett Park, Keehner Park, Station Road Schoolhouse,
Port Union Park, and the Olde Farmstead.
