The Jessica Ann Siegel Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 in memory of Jessica. She passed from this earth on August 23rd 2006 during a medical procedure during the summer prior to her junior year at Lakota East High School. All who knew Jessica say she brought joy to their life. Her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor kept everyone laughing. She always worried about others feelings and made everyone that crossed her path feel important.

Jessica had a special way of touching people’s hearts. She had been accepted into the teacher’s academy and planned on attending The Ohio State University to become a history teacher. Jessica was very involved in school, she was a peer counselor, an East ambassador, and was also a part of the woman’s choir. She was so excited to enter her junior year of high school and even wrote a count down on the mirror in her bedroom.

Although the loss is great, her family has felt as if they had been given an angel. Jessica’s beautiful smile and spirit will live on in all the hearts that she has touched…. She has taught us all that love is eternal…. This scholarship will keep her memory alive and give a helping hand to a worthy senior at Lakota East.
