 Voice of America Centre Scholarship Fund
Midland Atlantic Properties established a scholarship fund to address the educational needs of veterans returning from Foreign Service. One of Midland Atlantic’s core principles is an ongoing relationship with communities that are home to its various projects. In 2005, Master Sergeant James Roberto was selected recipient of the award.
Jamie is
a Marine and a student at Wright State University pursuing a degree in
Management Information Systems. He returned from Iraq in October of 2004
where he was injured and received the Purple Heart. He also was awarded
Navy and Marine Corp. Commendation medal, the Global War on Terrorism
Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal for
other achievements during deployment.
Jamie and
his wife Amy have two children, Charles and Max and reside in West Chester.
