Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run & Leprechaun Lap

The Shamrock Shuffle now in its 6th Year has become one of West Chester’s Signature Events. The Union Centre Boulevard Merchant Association (UCBMA) and West Chester Township has again joined with The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty to host the 2012 Shamrock Shuffle 5K & 10K, Breakfast and Block Party on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

Like years past, this year’s event will feature a 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run that will conclude at The Square @ Union Centre with our famous “Kegs and Eggs” breakfast and Block Party. Again last year we had record breaking participation and anticipate even greater Community Involvement in 2012! This year's Shamrock Shuffle will feature:

· "Shuffle Gives Back" Program - Groups have opportunity to raise funds for their favorite charity

· 10K LOOP Course

· Enhanced Race Features including chip Timing

· Cincinnati’s Flying Pig Marathon official Squeal of Approval

· Leprechaun Lap - Children's Fun Run

In addition to all this and a promised good time, all of the event proceeds will benefit The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty and the registered Charities through The Shuffle Gives Back program. The Shamrock Shuffle events will also host the IKEA Leprechaun Lap for the littlest among us to get involved. Last year’s Lap brought over a hundred kids with their families to the event and provided an outburst of energy for the rainy March morning.
