Lakota F.I.E.L.D.S Fund
The Lakota F.I.E.L.D.S. (Friends
Invested
in Enhancing Lakota District Stadiums) Fund was established by a group of private citizens committed to working with the Lakota School Board to raise the necessary funds to facilitate upgrades to the football stadiums at Lakota East and West High Schools. The planned improvements will extend the usage of these stadiums to a broader array of users both within the schools, as well as the community.
The primary use of F.I.E.L.D.S. funds will be to supplement the existing fundraising of the school district to install field turf. While the district has already secured substantial financial support for turf installation, that funding alone will not cover the full costs of installing turf. Additional sources of revenue from rentals, reduced maintenance expenses and private donations will be needed for the project. F.I.E.L.D.S. is committed to raising the private donations needed to insure turf installation can occur without additional taxpayer expense. Additional information, including opportunities for donor recognition, can be obtained at www.lakotafields.com.
