Friends of West Chester / Library Fund

The Friends of the West Chester Library is an organization that was created to enhance the West Chester Library’s programs, events, and collections.  Much like the PTOs of local schools, the Friends donate their time, energy, and money to make sure that the Library has the funds and supplies it needs to present great educational programs, to attract and retain readers, and to increase the cultural opportunities in West Chester and Liberty Townships. 

In 2006, the Friends of the West Chester Library created the Friends of the West Chester Library Fund at The Community Foundation to encourage local philanthropists to join in their cause of making a good library better.  Donations to the fund will be used to further the mission of the Friends of the Library, as well as plant the seed for future capital projects that the Friends would like to support for the Library.
