Community Golf Classic
On the first Monday of August the Foundation holds its annual Community Golf Classic. The event provides an opportunity for golfers to enjoy fellowship with their friends and neighbors while raising money to support their community. The Golf Classic, started by the late Bob Lawhorn, raises more than $75,000 for the community’s needs today and into the future! Many of the dollars raised at the event are granted back to local non-profit organizations serving West Chester and Liberty Townships.
The 11th Annual West Chester/Liberty Community Golf Classic benefiting The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty will be held on Monday, August 2nd. The Community Golf Classic will be held at Four Bridges and Wetherington Golf & Country Club’s and featured a lunch, golf, post-outing dinner, auction, awards and raffle.

4th Annual Golf Ball Drop
The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty will host its 4th Annual Golf Ball Drop on Monday, August 2nd at Four Bridges Golf & Country Club. The drop is part of the Community Golf Classic that raises money for the Foundation's Operations and Community Grant Fund. $5,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. Golf balls will be dropped from a crane about the practice green and awards will be distributed as follows: $3,000 for the ball that goes into the hole, $1,000 for the next closest ball to the hole, $500 for the next closest hole and $500 for the furthest ball from the hole. You do NOT need to be present to win. Golf Ball Drop tickets cost $20 or 8/$100. Tickets include valuable coupons to Back Porch Saloon, Uno's Bar & Grill and Taco Bell.
